Our client, a unicorn cybersecurity startup that is reinventing how businesses secure data, is looking for an Office & Culture Manager.

**This is an on-site role, and you will work from the NYC office 4 times per week**

About You:

You are an experienced, upbeat, and highly organized Office and culture Manager. You enjoy supporting growing teams and being the first point of contact for the company’s employees and guests at its headquarters. You are service-oriented with a positive, helpful demeanor. You’re able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The Office & Culture Manager will report to the VP of Business Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our NYC HQ, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, managing site events and programs, and providing exceptional employee experience. You will also work effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.

As you ramp into this role, you will be expected to dive deep and fast into the facility management of our NYC HQ, including expansion to a new space, as well as establish the proper operational and cultural infrastructure to Cyera’s new hubs across the US.

You will manage the company’s HQ in NYC and oversee the operations of all other company hubs across the US.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Employee and Visitor Experience:

  • Ensure a welcoming environment for visitors and customers, setting a high standard for employee and visitor experience in the office: Assist with onboarding and welcoming new hires to the team and validating access to the local Cyera hub.
  • Manage office inventory, including company swag, as well as drinks, snacks, and office supplies
  • Ensure employees’ well-being while addressing ongoing needs and anticipating potential future needs
  • Oversee facility management, including space planning, maintenance, and office improvements of all Cyera hubs across the US
  • Own all communications to US employees on regional office events, changes, and operations.

Event and Program Management:

  • Working closely with the company’s Global Employee Experience Manager, plan and coordinate local events end-to-end, from NYC get-togethers to gatherings in other US hubs, ensuring the successful rollout of logistical and tactical operations.
  • Own and manage logistics, including but not limited to venue selection, vendor negotiation, and event budgeting.
  • Meaningful stakeholder of Cyera’s employee brand in the US

Office Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and service providers, including but not limited to landlord/facility management and facility solutions for service requirements and issues, including lighting, power, air conditioning, etc
  • Manage office-related vendor contracts and review them on a general basis
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Perform other administrative duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Min. 2 years of relevant experience as a Director of Operations
  • Highly Organized with strong project management skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and Emotional Intelligence. Positive, confident.
  • Tech Savvy – Quick learner and fast-paced using various software and services such as SaaS, databases, automation, CRM, ERP, and reports
  • Know how to calm people and make them feel heard.

Your Experience:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-15 years of family law litigation experience handling divorce, child custody, post-judgment matters, domestic violence, and other family law-related matters and will handle full cycle representation of clients.

  • Ability to make court appearances on a regular basis
  • Ability to prioritize and analyze tasks, recommend and implement improvements, and anticipate future need

  • Experience drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, taking and defending depositions; reviewing standard court documents, writing, reviewing, and monitoring discovery; generating status reports
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Ability to track time and bill appropriately according to quota
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; consistent attention to details
  • Ability to execute case strategy and collaborate on complex matters with other lawyers to develop the best solution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing an office of 100+ employees
  • Demonstrated track record in effective facility management, event planning, and vendor relations
  • Eye for aesthetics and details
  • Can-do approach a strong operational skill, and the ability to work independently with minimal direction from leadership
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and proactively manage projects to completion
